Ariane has more than fifteen years of professional experience in association management, including complex educational and event programming, project management, business development, strategic planning, and team leadership with international exposure. She is currently Director of Conferences at the International AIDS Society in Geneva.
Prior to that she managed an extensive portfolio of humanitarian and philanthropic programs, in partnership with a range of organizations, supporting the development of kidney care in low-resource countries for the International Society of Nephrology. She then operated a strategic transition for the International Society of Endocrinology in her capacity of Executive Director. More recently she did a short stint at the European Society of Organ Transplantation where she worked on the delivery of innovative industry supported projects to diversify the revenue streams of the society.
Ariane is Belgian and holds a Master’s in International Relations from the University of Brussels and a Masters in History from the University of Louvain.
