Adelaide Venue Management has just announced Sarah Goldfinch as the new General Manager of the Adelaide Convention Centre.
With over 25 years of global tourism and hospitality expertise, Sarah’s leadership, coupled with her commitment to innovation, is set to elevate the Centre’s standing on the world stage.
Martin Radcliffe, Chief Executive Officer at Adelaide Venue Management – operators of Adelaide Convention Centre – said: “We’re delighted to officially welcome Sarah to the team. Her extensive experience and networks will further grow our Centre and destination’s standing in the highly competitive global events marketplace. Sarah will be an impactful ambassador for the Centre as we work to bring more national and international conventions and events to Adelaide and continue to elevate our delegate experience.”
Sarah’s career highlights encompass successful tenures as General Manager at Novotel Barossa Valley Resort and the opening of the award-winning Crowne Plaza Adelaide hotel. She also played a pivotal role in guiding the pre-opening strategy for the luxury Oval Hotel at Adelaide Oval.
The announcement coincides with Adelaide Convention Centre’s stellar performance in 2022/23, on track to inject over $190 million into the South Australian economy through hosting 82 major national and international business events.
Sarah Goldfinch officially assumes her role in February 2024, marking a promising new chapter for the Centre.
